The Cooler Comrade concept originated when I was 16 years old (2010). I had just got a Yeti cooler and didn’t see anywhere to put my favorite University of Alabama beverage holder. So, I took out a pocket knife and made a simple little slit in the bottom to have it hang on the latch. I then set a goal to patent it and build a company around it, but it took me a few years to figure out how to do that… 

In 2018, we finally found the right manufacturing to start the business and applied for the patent.  It took 6 years to get the patent. Since 2018, we have built out our team and  become one of the top suppliers for custom beverage holders in the outdoor industry. Though our passion is the outdoors, we are excited to continue growing deeper into new markets!
